4s' Pilgrimage to Canterbury
The 4s, accompanied by Messrs Coppack & Koops, much enjoyed their trip to Canterbury Cathedral. They had a go at some masonry then used the model of a Medieval 'crane', practised their handwriting using quill and ink and designed coats of arms and stained glass windows. The tour of the Cathedral dressed as monks, knights, the Archbishop of Canterbury and none less than Henry II took them to the site of Thomas Becket's murder. A really interesting day learning lots of historical and religious facts.
