Bonfire, Whizbangs & Barn Games
Saturday, November 11th
After a day of incessant rain, it miraculously stopped just as concens were being raised as to whethet the massive bonfire would light....and it did, with flames leaping skywards as the assembled school and families watched from a safe distance. As the flames subsided we made our way back to the front of the school. After a bit of a lull we were treated to a great display accompanied by the compulsory oohs and aahs before repairing to the dining room for refreshments. Thence to the Barn where the 1s had set up their games - or perhaps they should be labelled 'messy play'! A great fun typically Ashdown evening.
